Here at MOT Juice, we’re constantly evolving our software to ensure we are always delivering the best products for our members.
We’ve had a very exciting month in July trying to update our product offering. Here’s what we’ve been up to during July 2021.
MOT Juice Lite is a brand new product that we built for the needs of MOT Testers looking to buy their own training and exams. It offers testers the chance to buy their own training, CPD, exams or other training courses for themselves.
Signup takes less than 60 seconds and is completely free. You then buy what you want to buy – no auto-renewal.
Your MOT Juice Lite account allows you to upload records of training and exams completed with any other supplier, meaning you can even use it as a free online storage platform to make recording training and exams easier.
You can find out more about MOT Juice Lite here.
We have noticed that a handful of our users continue to use Internet Explorer 11. Whilst this is not a major issue, it does result in some functionality not being able to work properly (for example, uploading files). This is because Microsoft have ended their support for Internet Explorer 11 in an attempt to push more users toward their Microsoft Edge browser.
We’ll always try to ensure MOT Juice can work on as many browsers as possible, but we always encourage users to update to a newer browser to ensure better security.
Anyone who does use Internet Explorer 11 will see a ‘Compatibility Warning’ message stating some functionality may not work.
We have updated some visuals throughout our popup windows to ensure consistency and familiarity. This update makes it easier to see what activities have been done, and what is left to do.
Most of our development is born from ideas submitted to us by our members. If you have an idea of how the MOT Juice platform can be improved, please feel free to submit your feedback to us at support@motjuice.co.uk.
As CTO at MOT Juice, I lead the development and direction of our platform with a sharp focus on integrity, usability, and real-world impact. With a deep understanding of both compliance systems and user behaviour, I ensure our tools not only meet DVSA standards but also reflect the true operational health of MOT sites. I am passionate about building features that promote transparency, accountability, and long-term cultural change — not just ticking boxes. I work closely with clients, support teams, and developers to balance strategic vision with practical execution, helping MOT Juice stay ahead of the curve in quality management and compliance technology.
