The MOT Juice new Site Audit went live at the beginning of this month. Its development has been a major cross-team project for the business, spanning a number of months throughout the 2022-23 training year.
The Site Audit has been a feature we have offered for a while. The Site Audit encourages you to consider and tackle monthly tasks, which help maintain a healthy standard of compliance in all areas of your VTS. The original version, whilst being a helpful principle, had limits, particularly regarding how user-friendly it was. We’ve taken onboard feedback from some of our awesome clients, we’ve listened to their needs, and we’ve completely revamped the Site Audit system so that it is precisely what you guys need to become a super helpful tool on your workshop floors.
We used your feedback to inform us on how to redesign and rebuild the new Site Audit system. One of our core business values is making compliance activities meaningful and helping our clients cultivate compliance process improvement within their businesses. We do not stand with those who relegate compliance to a box-ticking exercise. The new and improved Site Audit feature means you can ace your VTS compliance effortlessly by following this simple and engaging monthly process.
We have modelled the new site audit feature to take you through a carefully curated process once a month. We have arranged the audit questions seasonally, helping you nail the tasks relevant to you during that month. Clear justifications and step-by-step guidance accompany each task in the audit.
The team here have been working hard on producing insightful video explainers to accompany each task in the audit. No more blindly following instructions, being struck with inertia, or not knowing how best to proceed with a given task. These video explainers help you understand the justification behind each task and guide you through the practicalities of completing each task most efficiently, avoiding any known pitfalls.
If you want to consolidate your VTS compliance into a simple and stress-free to-do list which you can delegate amongst your staff, or finalise yourself with minimal effort, then look no further. The Site Audit can help you with that. We include it with our standard VTS tools package for business, accompanied by a whole host of other functionality designed to simplify your role as a Site Manager. Other tools in this package include annual training and CPD for all staff, including specific SM training for Site Managers, the monthly QC checking process, scheduling functionality for equipment calibrations, and VE reporting to ensure you are 100% prepared for any ad-hoc DVSA visits.
MOT Scheme Site Managers and higher up managers have a lot of responsibility for any compliance failings of a VTS, including being personally and legally accountable for any negligence. In the most severe negligence cases, this can result in criminal prosecution. Being ignorant about your liability as a manager is no defence. If you are in a position of responsibility in the MOT Scheme as a Site Manager or above, first ensure you are familiar with your full scope of responsibility within your role, then take proactive management to mitigate any risk. MOT Juice can walk you through all the steps you need to take to keep yourself safe and your business compliance fully watertight and optimised.
MOT Juice can help you with a level of efficiency which will impress your boss and build confidence within your team. Your team wants to feel reassured that you are looking out for the business’s best interests, ensuring its longevity and being clear and consistent regarding the processes and procedures expected of your staff. Make it simple for everyone. If you’d like to learn more about the VTS tools and see how they will revolutionise your role, you can try them FREE for 30 days by clicking here.
